Preparing for your vocal audition
Thank you for taking the time to prepare for your vocal audition. Here are a few tips to help you prepare for your audition:
- Get a good night’s sleep.
- Stay hydrated. Put in the work before. Drinking water right before you sing won’t do you much good. Be sure to make hydration part of your daily routine. Room temp water is best.
- Protect your voice. Avoid yelling or putting unncessary strain on your voice. If your voice feel sore, let it rest.
- Always take the time to warm-up your voice before singing. You’ll find a great vocal warm-up on this page.
